Unknown Gmail’s Useful Features : You Must Know

Gmail is the very common and useful mail provider, Everyone of us has Gmail account, but we do not use the additional options in Gmail. There are many useful and important options that will make you smart from others.  By following below tips, you’ll save your valuable time. Here we are going to see some of the essential features in gmail.

Goto setting at the top right corner of your account.

1. How to add Signature in Gmail?

At the end of every mail we will be using some formal words like regards,thanks, quotes etc. We get frustated to add these content every time we mail. So what we can do is add these contents in the signature so that it appears automatically whenever you compose a mail. To do so goto General tab under settings and scroll down. You will signature option and enable it and fill it with the contents that need to be added in every mail.

2. How to add a vacation responder in Gmail?

If you are getting mails more than one time from someone continuously and you are not able to respond him due to some reasons. Vacation responder, automatically sends mail to them and we can add a message so that they can understand our situation accordingly.

3. How to remember chat history in Gmail?

If you want to save your important chat history, then to do so click chat tab under settings and goto my chat history option and enable chat history.

4. How to add offline Gmail to our browser?

It collects all the mail data, including the archives and stores it in the cache so that we can access it even when a power failure occurs. goto offline tab under settings and click install offline. Then it redirects to the chrome app launcher and add this app to the browser. The shortcut of offline gmail appears on the chrome browser.

5. How to add another mail account to your gmail account?

This is one of the very important feature, if you are using more than one email account, that may be from any mail host providers. Means you may add all of your important mail accounts that may be your office email, your another gmail or yahoo mail or maybe your personal or webmail. To do so just gotoAccounts and Import  and click on “Add another email address you own” under Send mail as section.

You will get a popup, just follow the popup and you’ll easily setup your another mail account.
